Awards name
modifierLike Nobel Prize, or other awards in research, the awards name could be a tribute to someone close to the research community, positive about Wikimedia projects, involved in free culture, and known by the wikimedia community.
For example :
- Michel Serres : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michel_Serres
- Michael Hart : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_S._Hart
- Umberto Eco : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umberto_Eco
- Robert Darnton : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Darnton
Selecting a jury
modifierWe would like to set up an international jury (<10 members). Any suggestions?--CarolAnnO 19 octobre 2011 à 16:08 (UTC)
- As we're on the French Wikiversity, it would be better to make it read by the local contributors. JackPotte ($♠) 19 octobre 2011 à 19:27 (UTC)
- Hello JackPotte, I just initiate the same discussions on the french talk page.--CarolAnnO 19 octobre 2011 à 21:16 (UTC)
- Sorry but I was talking about voting on the site content, and apparently these elections will only concern some WP biographies? JackPotte ($♠) 20 octobre 2011 à 06:14 (UTC)
- The goal here is not to vote for Wikipedia contents. It's a call for suggestions to find a name for this award and identify people who would join the international jury (see jury's role on the project page).--CarolAnnO 21 octobre 2011 à 09:26 (UTC)
