L'hamornie du monde est produite par l'accord des voix des sirènes ; chacune d'elles est placée sur une sphère. Les sirènes sont à l'origine du titre du livre de Valderrabano Silva de sirenas (Forêt de sirènes), par la variété et diversité de musique que l'on trouve dans le livre. Valderrabano compare les sept sirènes de la tradition pytagoricienne avec les vertus de l'âme. Il mentionne les sirènes d'Homère qui avec leurs chants et vers consonants communiquaient la science et la connaissance des choses immortelles."  »

1800 - Au 31 du mois d'aout par le Corps des Troupes de Marine. Met en scène Robert Surcouf, (12 décembre 1773 à Saint-Malo - 8 juillet 1827 à Saint-Servan), corsaire français. "Puis vient le 7 octobre 1800, date à laquelle Surcouf rentre de son vivant dans la légende avec la prise du Kent" dont il est question dans ce chant de marin & de corsaire, Au 31 du mois d'aout. Nommé membre de la Légion d'honneur le 26 prairial an XII (14 juin 1804), il devint l'un des plus riches et puissants armateurs de Saint-Malo et un prospère propriétaire de 800 hectares de terrain.
